Christmas and outdoor lighting services

Holiday lights for homes and businesses, permanent lights that stay up all year, and outdoor lighting for yards and patios. You supply the lights. We do the design and the ladder work.

  • 5+ years in Ventura County
  • Open 7 days, 9 AM to 5 PM

One crew for every part of the job

Quick answer

Pronto Christmas Lights installs holiday, permanent and outdoor lighting across Thousand Oaks, Ventura County and the Santa Clarita Valley. We do not sell or lease lights. You rent, buy or reuse them, and we design the layout, install it, maintain it and take it down.

Many lighting companies sell a package with their own lights attached. We work the other way around. You decide what goes on your property and where it comes from, and you pay us for the work.

That work is the same on every job. We measure, plan the layout, list what you need, install it neatly and come back when the season ends.

Pronto is an installation company. We do not sell or lease lights, so you choose what goes on your home. Customers get their lights in one of three ways.

Rent

Rent your lights for the season and return them after takedown. There is nothing to store, and you can change the look next year.

Good for a first season, or if you like a new look each year.

Buy

Buy your lights once and use them every year. We tell you the lengths, bulb type and clips to get, so nothing is wasted.

Good if you plan to decorate the same way for several years.

Use your own

Already have outdoor lights? We check that every strand is outdoor-rated and working before it goes up.

Good if last year’s lights are still in the garage.

Not sure which way to go? Send a quote request. We measure what you want lit, then tell you exactly what to rent or buy.

How every job runs

The same four steps, whatever we are lighting.

  1. 1Send a quote request

Tell us your city and how to reach you. Add what you want lit if you already know.

  2. 2We measure and plan

We look at your roofline, trees and power. Then we send a clear price and a list of the lights to rent or buy.

  3. 3We install

Our crew hangs everything, sets the timers and walks you through it before leaving.

  4. 4We maintain and take down

If a section goes out, call us. After the holidays we take everything down and pack it for you.

When should you book?

October and early November give you the most choice of install dates. The calendar fills quickly as Thanksgiving gets closer, so book early if you want your lights on by the first week of December.

Questions about our services

Have a different question? Call (213) 800-4951 or see all questions.

Do you supply the Christmas lights?

No. Pronto is an installation company, so you rent or buy the lights and we do the rest. If you are not sure what to get, we measure what you want lit and tell you the lengths, bulb type and clips to order.

Can you install lights I already own?

Yes. Bring out what you have and we check that every strand is rated for outdoor use and working before it goes up. If something needs replacing, we tell you before install day.

Do you work on businesses as well as homes?

Yes. We light storefronts, offices, restaurants and shopping centers, and we work for HOAs and managed communities. See commercial Christmas lighting.

Do you install permanent lights?

Yes. We install permanent lighting systems that you buy, including Govee permanent outdoor lights. We mount the lights, secure the cable and set up the app. See permanent Christmas lights.

When should I book my Christmas light installation?

October and early November give you the most choice of dates. The calendar fills quickly as Thanksgiving gets closer, so book early if you want your lights on by the first week of December.

How much does Christmas light installation cost?

It depends on the length and height of your roofline and on what else you want lit, such as trees, shrubs or pathways. Quotes are free. Read what affects the price or send a request and we will price your home.
