Who supplies the lights, what it costs, when to book and what happens in January. If your question is not here, call us.
Who supplies what, and what to get.
No. Pronto is an installation company, so you rent or buy the lights and we do the rest. If you are not sure what to get, we measure what you want lit and tell you the lengths, bulb type and clips to order.
Yes. Bring out what you have and we check that every strand is rated for outdoor use and working before it goes up. If something needs replacing, we tell you before install day.
Ask us when you request a quote. Once we have measured, we give you the lengths, bulb type and clips to get, and we can point you to places that rent or sell them.
For a roofline, C9 or C7 LED bulbs are the usual choice. For trees and shrubs, LED mini lights or net lights. Do not buy anything until we have measured. We tell you the lengths, the bulb type and the clips, so you get the right amount.
Rent if this is your first season, if you like to change the look or if you have nowhere to store lights. Buy if you plan to keep the same layout for several years.
When to book and how pricing works.
October and early November give you the most choice of dates. The calendar fills quickly as Thanksgiving gets closer, so book early if you want your lights on by the first week of December.
It depends on the length and height of your roofline and on what else you want lit, such as trees, shrubs or pathways. Quotes are free. Read what affects the price or send a request and we will price your home.
No. Quotes are free and there is no obligation.
Your quote shows it. Every quote lists takedown, either inside the install price or as its own line, so you know the full cost before you book.
Wet roofs are not safe to work on. If rain is forecast, we reschedule your install and let you know.
What happens on the day.
It depends on the size of the display. A single roofline takes much less time than a full front with trees and pathways. We give you a time estimate with your quote.
Not for the whole visit. We need access to the outdoor outlets and any locked gates, and a way to reach you if a question comes up.
With clips made for the surface: gutter clips, shingle clips or tile clips. Trees are wrapped. Stake lights go into planting beds.
Yes. We light one and two-story homes, including the tile roofs that are common here. Tell us about your roof in the quote request so we arrive with the right ladders and clips.
Not by much if they are LED. LED strings use a small fraction of the power of older incandescent sets, so even a large display adds little to a monthly bill.
