Holiday lighting for your business

Quick answer

Pronto installs Christmas lighting on commercial buildings: rooflines and parapets, storefront windows, entry trees, columns and signs. You rent or buy the lights. We handle the layout, the installation, repairs during the season and removal in January.

Customers notice a lit storefront, and they notice a dark one between two lit neighbors. A simple, tidy display does more for a business than an elaborate one that is half out by mid-December.

We keep commercial layouts easy to maintain. Fewer circuits, clear access to each run and a plan for what happens if a section fails.

Who commercial lighting is for

Any building the public sees, including these.

  • Retail stores
  • Restaurants and cafes
  • Offices
  • Medical and dental offices
  • Shopping centers
  • Hotels and inns
  • Car dealerships
  • Places of worship

What a manager needs to know

  • One point of contact. The same crew handles the quote, the install, repairs and takedown.
  • A clear scope. The quote lists what gets lit, the install date and the removal date.
  • Landlord and center rules. Send us the lighting or sign criteria and we plan within them.
  • Power. We map outlets and circuits before install day.
  • Quiet hours. We plan the work for the slowest part of your day.

Common commercial layouts

Starting points, adjusted to your building.

BuildingA typical layout
StorefrontOutline the parapet and windows, and hang a wreath over the entry.
Restaurant patioString lights overhead, lit planters and garland at the host stand.
Office buildingRoofline or parapet, with entry trees and columns wrapped.
Shopping centerRoofline runs, tree wraps along the parking lot edge and lit entry signs.

How a commercial job runs

  1. 1Walk the site

We look at the building with you and list what could be lit.

  2. 2Scope and price

You get a layout, a price for our work and a list of lights to rent or buy.

  3. 3Install

We install at the time agreed and test every circuit.

  4. 4Service and removal

Call if a section goes out. In January we take it all down.

When should a business book?

As early as you can. September and October give the widest choice of dates. A display that goes up before Thanksgiving needs to be planned well ahead.

Lines and wraps by the same crew

These are homes, not storefronts, but the work is the same: straight lines, wrapped trees and tidy cords.

  • White lights in straight lines along a clay tile roof above arched garage doors
  • Two-story home in Thousand Oaks with warm white lights on both rooflines
  • Olive trees with trunks and branches wrapped in warm white mini lights
  • Courtyard entry with roofline lights and green mini lights on the climbing vines
  • Tall hedge covered in warm white mini lights under an oak, with roofline lights behind
  • Two-story home with multicolor lights along every roofline
  • Home with multicolor lights on the dormers, roofline and entry gable
  • Tree with the trunk and main branches wrapped in warm white mini lights

Commercial lighting questions

Have a different question? Call (213) 800-4951 or see all questions.

Do you supply the lights for commercial jobs?

No. As with homes, the business rents or buys the lights and we install them. We give you a full list after the site walk.

Can you install outside our opening hours?

Tell us your hours and your quiet times, and we plan the install around them.

Can you match our brand colors?

Yes, if lights are sold in those colors. Color-changing permanent lights can be set to almost any color.

Do you take the display down?

Yes. Removal is scheduled when you book, usually for the first half of January.

Can lights stay up all year?

Yes. Permanent lights and patio string lights are both made to stay in place.

What happens if a light goes out during the season?

Call (213) 800-4951 and tell us which section is out. We schedule a visit and fix it. See repair and maintenance for how service visits work.
